What vaccines will I need to have?
This depends which country you are visiting, but could include:
Cholera
Diphtheria
Hepatitis A and B
Rabies
Tetanus
Typhoid

Why is it important to have a vaccination?
Having a vaccination can reduce the risk that you will become seriously unwell from an illness. It also makes it less likely that you will spread diseases to people who haven’t been vaccinated or bring them back to your home country.
Some countries will ask you to produce a vaccine certificate to show you are protected before you are allowed entry.
When should I have my vaccinations?
Some vaccines need to be administered in two doses, so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to have both before you fly. We’d recommend booking your first appointment at least eight weeks before you are due to leave.
How much does it cost?
The cost will depend on which vaccine you need to have. Current prices are:
Cholera – £42 to £80 (depending on type of vaccine)
Diphtheria, tetanus and polio – £42
Hepatitis A and B (combined) – £60 (child) or £89 (adult)
Rabies – £70 (intradermal vaccine) or £85 (intramuscular vaccine)
Typhoid – £45
Yellow fever – £78
Are there any side effects from travel vaccinations?
Some people may experience some mild side effects from travel vaccinations.
